Healthy 5 a day activities in the Easter holidays

Saturday, April 30th, 2011

Local families took part in some fun activities around the theme of growing fruit and veg and 5 a day.

Children enjoyed planting seeds and learning how plants grow. We planted lettuce and tomatoes in recyled pots to show how anyone and everyone can grow things in their own home or garden. Kids also did 5 a day puzzles and a quiz.
